For each phase of a transferee's assignment, there are specific services to help smooth the transitions for the entire family. Our menu of a la carte services helps relocating employees from beginning to end:

  • Mini-orientations - This package of basic orientation services helps new employees get adjusted to the area, without all the bells and whistles. It includes:
    • a verbal overview of the Dallas/Fort Worth area
    • a checklist of things to do
    • a packet of information on leisure activities and resources
    • a question and answer session
    • personal help applying for a Social Security card and bank accounts
    • On-going support, as needed.
  • Departure program - Moving to a new place can be challenging. But leaving has its own set of difficulties. With our disconnect services, DFW Orientation makes it simple for transferees to head home. This package includes:
    • Shutting off utilities
    • Closing out bank accounts
    • Forwarding mail to a new location
    • Referring housekeeping service to clean residence
    • Conducting a walk-through inspection with a realtor
    • Obtaining deposit refunds
  • Phone support - Ongoing support can be key to the success of relocating employees. With phone support from DFW Orientation Services, employees and their spouses can ask questions, get community information and solicit help over time.
