Learning to live and work around
the world
It's been proven time after
time. Without proper preparation before departure, plus assistance
following arrival, international employees have great difficulty adjusting
to their new culture.
That's why DFW Orientation Services has created a menu
of options for cross-cultural training:
- Pre-Departure Training - We provide participants
with a realistic understanding of what to expect in their new assignments.
Plus, we provide practical living information, specific business-related
information and an understanding of the cultural adjustment process.
Ideally, this training occurs between two and four weeks before
departure.
- Post-Arrival Training - This program helps the new
assignee and family members to make a smooth transition to life
in the United States. For the best results, Post-Arrival Training
should be combined with Pre-Departure Training services.
- Executive and Individual Coaching - Coaching programs
are customized specifically for the needs of each person. They are
designed to accelerate the adaptation to a new business culture
or to help the spouse create a personal plan for his or her life
in the new environment.
- Repatriation Training - Moving home can be even
more difficult than relocating to another country. That's why we
offer Repatriation Training, which helps those returning home assimilate
back into their own culture.
